Do you like to help people or animals in trouble? Is it easy? Do they shy away from help? Are you frustrated when nothing you do makes the difference you see is possible? What to do? Truth, can you help someone who doesn't want to be helped? No, no matter how great your skill, advice, experience, or expertise. They must choose it. Sometimes people just don't want change. And sometimes they simply don't know it's possible and you can show them. How? Ask questions. First of yourself, ask “What can they receive from me with ease?” What do you sense? Would they receive a light question? Or perhaps just your energy at first? After that, if you sense the issue is related to self-worth, for example, invite them to a different possibility by asking directly or energetically “What's right about you that you're not getting?” Be aware the issue may not be what you thought. Follow the energy, asking more questions until it lightens. Or until you sense that, for now, they will receive no more.
What applies to you today? Pick any and all of these. It's my birthday; I had the most amazing cup of coffee; the sky is clear, blue and has fluffy clouds; I'm feeling fit and healthy; I hung out with fun, fabulous people; someone helped me out of a tight spot; I got what I wanted done at work; I got my study assignment done on time; the traffic opened up like the Red Sea and I got there on time; I had a delicious sleep; I got a mani/pedi/ back rub; my favourite shop was having a sale; I helped someone and they smiled; I saw a rerun of my favourite show; my team scored surprising points; the steak was cooked just right; I had a house full of screaming kids; I didn't have a house full of screaming kids; I laughed; I cried; I felt alive. None of these apply to you? Then ask “What can I celebrate today” and think of ONE fabulous thing that you saw/ did/ experienced today and CELEBRATE your life.
What is your point of view about money, for example? That there isn't enough to go around? That it doesn't grow on trees? That you have to work long and hard to get enough? Whatever your points of view about money, is that more or less what is showing up for you? So your points of view are not wrong? And if something is working for you, there is no need to change your point of view about it. What about when something is NOT working for you? For example, if you'd really prefer more money in your life? In that case, play with this. Ask “What if I changed my point of view?” Then, every time you start to say something about money, STOP and say “Interesting I have that point of view. I wonder what else is possible, greater than I can imagine?” What else would you like to change? The people in your life, your health, you daily activities like work? What else could you change your point of view about that could create a whole new reality you can't yet imagine? Start to play?
