Would you like to invite something into your life that you don't have now? A great job, more money, better health, fun people to hang out with, even an 'insignificant other'? Usually we say we 'want' something. Be aware that the primary meaning of 'want' is 'lack', which only reinforces the idea that we are without the thing we'd actually like to have. Which is why often the things we truly desire don't show up. Be aware also of the specifics of what you're asking for. For example, if you ask for the 'perfect relationship', you will create exactly that, a relationship complete with the full range of judgements, expectations, disappointments, limitations, trauma and drama. So instead, be clear on what you'd truly like and ask "What will it take for [enter your desire here_____________] to show up, that would be an awesome contribution to my life and living?" And if you'd like to take it beyond anything you can imagine, add "or something greater".
